Each partner city recognises its problems arising from the settling of the metropolitan river area with the purpose of discussing such issues during international exchange and to obtain additional elements produced by the elaboration of common methods.
Each one has a particular final goal concerning the relative river system, and it pinpoints the identity and criticalness (landscapes that need protection, nature that needs conservation, river systems that need safety measures put into place) and proposes local operations supported by plans.
The cities of Florence, Bremen, Bordeaux and Tallinn will be concerned by the realization of the pilot plan.
